Today I went to Gardner Village (again) with Kristen to check out the Farmers Market that they hold on Saturday mornings. We saw these cute little guys:
And then I came home and made blueberry muffins for John based off this recipe. I left out the lemon zest since I only had lemon juice, not an actual lemon, added crushed graham crackers (the unusable, broken pieces left over from Day 31) to the streusel topping, and drizzled it all with a lemon glaze. That muffin was a keeper. But definitely my favorite part of the day was when we went to the mall to get John's hair cut and the (male) stylist was sporting sparkly silver nail polish. John looked pretty nervous. He sympathized with John about the "curse of the curly sideburns" and then reassured him that he wouldn't be going bald any time soon. Apparently that's a big concern for guys?
