Today we went to a barbecue at John's brother's house. He keeps bees and we got to see them. I was surprised because they were actually really docile. He took the lid off their box (without gloves on) and they didn't even seem to care. I don't really like bees (unless they're the cute kind embroidered on tablecloths or that you see on Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree), but I do like honey . . . so maybe someday I'll consider getting some.
