Today was Kristen's birthday. She's obsessed with Frank Sinatra, so when John and I found a Sinatra record at an antiques store a few months ago, we bought it. Then we framed it. What 17-year-old girl doesn't want a framed record from a singer who was popular decades before she was born?

Today John surprised me and took me to Pizzeria Limone for lunch. I love that place and highly recommend it. Your pizza is made right when you get there (my personal favorite is the viola, which has blackberries on it -- sounds gross but it's amazing) and they have a soda machine with every kind of soda imaginable (we're talking every flavor of every soda known to man -- I never knew that there were that many available). Then afterward, we looked at World Market, which was fun, and then I got frozen yogurt from Red Mango (another favorite). It was a great lunch date.

Today was Mexican food night (and I didn't get any good pictures because my camera is out of batteries, so I had to use my phone). But I made baked creamy chicken taquitos with cilantro lime dip, black beans, cilantro lime rice, and copycat recipe for Chili's chips and queso. Everything was really good (but obviously you can't tell since my phone makes every food look pathetic).

Today John's sister Ashley had her baby. I didn't get a picture of Alexis, but I did get a picture of the 157th fire in Utah this summer (okay maybe not, but it seems like we're constantly burning).
